The House investigative committee has published a set of approximately 70 photographs from the estate of late found guilty sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the third release from a tranche of in excess of 95,000 images the body has acquired from Epstein's property. It features photographs of quotes from the novel Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and obscured images of women's international passports.

This release comes mere hours before the 19th of December cut-off for the Justice Department to disclose all records connected to its investigation into Epstein.

"These photos pose further inquiries about exactly what the DOJ has in its holdings," remarked the Democratic lead of the committee, Robert Garcia.

Contents in the Photos Made Public

Several of the photos made public on Thursday feature Epstein in discussion with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky aboard a personal aircraft; Bill Gates standing beside a woman whose face is redacted; Steve Bannon seated at a table across from Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the most recent high-net-worth, influential men to be seen in Epstein estate images published by the committee - earlier disclosed images also depict US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, ex- US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Showing up in the photographs is does not constitute evidence of any wrongdoing, and a number of the featured men have asserted they were not participating in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a press release issued alongside the image publication, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein estate's representatives did not provide explanatory details or timeframes for the pictures.

"Photographs were selected to provide the American people with clarity into a representative sample of the images acquired from the property, and to provide perspectives into Epstein's circle and his exceptionally disturbing behavior," the announcement says.

The publication also includes multiple photos of excerpts from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita penned in black ink across various areas of a female's body, such as her torso, feet, hipbone, and back. Lolita tells the tale of a minor who was exploited by a adult literature professor.

One excerpt from the novel inscribed across a woman's torso states, "Lolita's name: the point of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to land, at three, on the teeth".

There are also a number of photographs of women's passports and ID papers from states around the world, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The majority of the data on the IDs, like identities and DOBs, is censored but the House Oversight Committee indicated in a press release that the passports pertain to "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were involved with".

An additional photograph features Epstein positioned at a desk closely surrounded by three women whose faces have been redacted - one has her palm on Epstein's upper body under his garment, and a second is crouching to examine a close-by computer. Epstein appears to be assisting the final person fasten a wristband.

An additional image disclosed is a capture of SMS messages from an unidentified individual who says they have been sent "several females" and are demanding "$$1,000 per girl".

Photograph Publication Occurs Before DOJ Deadline

The body has a vast number of photos in its custody from the Epstein estate, which are "both disturbing and ordinary," its press release on Thursday clarified.

The oversight panel first issued a subpoena to the property of Epstein, who died in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on accusations of sex trafficking, in August.

The images and records the Epstein estate provided to the body are separate from what is often called "the Epstein documents". That material are documents under the Department of Justice's custody associated with its independent probe into Epstein.

In accordance with the Transparency Act, which the President made law last month, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to publish its documents. The full nature of what is found in the DOJ's files is unclear, and it's probable that a large amount of the material will be heavily obscured, comparable to House Oversight Committee releases
