Even though entering their maiden continental campaign, Crystal Palace are adapting at a rapid pace. Without key figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club left Dublin with a comfortable win that virtually secures them a place in the Europa Conference League playoffs.

Another victory in their upcoming match against Finnish KuPS ought to be enough to secure direct passage to the knockout stages, especially following a prior setback against Strasbourg.

This match provided a chance for several Palace's lesser-used talent to shine. Christantus Uche, making only his second beginning since arriving on loan from Getafe, opened the scoring with a clinical finish. Forward Eddie Nketiah added a second, scoring for the second game in succession.
