The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in the state of California aged 55.

His passing was verified by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.

The renowned game designer passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and burst into flames on a freeway in LA on Sunday, as reported by.

"This represents an unimaginable loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's loved ones, his family, and the countless individuals inspired by his creative vision," an official with Electronic Arts commented.
